2006 NSR FALL TOUR
Coordinated and led by Tony & Kim Karsnia

We will be touring to Tony’s hometown of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota over the weekend of September 22-24, 2006  Come
along with us as we enjoy great fellowship, fantastic cars, and beautiful fall colors!

We’ll meet at Denny’s Diner in Rogers, MN on Friday morning to begin our journey approx. 200 miles northwest of the Twin
Cites to Detroit Lakes.  The motorcade of cars will leave at 9 AM SHARP, so please arrive at the diner earlier if you wish to
eat prior to departure.  The drive will be leisurely, with plenty of potty and special interest stops.

Once we arrive in DL, we will be staying at a brand-new hotel (built and owned by longtime DL hotel owners) called THE
LODGE ON LAKE DETROIT, which is located right on the east shore of beautiful Lake Detroit.  We have reserved a
block of rooms at a special rate of $116.10 (plus tax) per night.  The block includes Resort Rooms with either two queen
beds or one king bed.  NOTE:  Room rate includes complimentary deluxe breakfast bar with eggs, crepes, etc…much more
than a typical continental breakfast!  Please contact The Lodge directly to make your reservation, and be sure to mention you
are with the NSR Cadillac-LaSalle Club.  Call 1-800-761-VIEW for reservations.  You can also check out The Lodge
website at www.thelodgeonlakedetroit.com.   The Lodge address is 1200 East Shore Drive, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501.

A group reservation has been made for our Friday evening dinner at THE FIRESIDE RESTAURANT, located just a short
distance down East Shore Drive from our hotel.

On Saturday morning after breakfast, we’ll take a little tour into the country to the nearby village of Vergas.  This community
is well known in the area for it’s various antique and special interest shops.  We’ll eat lunch in Vergas at Billy’s Bar; a place
known for great food!

In keeping with our tradition of showing off our classic Cadillac & LaSalle automobiles to the public, the leaders of this tour
have organized a special CAR SHOW on Saturday afternoon at Nereson Chevrolet-Cadillac-Jeep, located on Hwy. 10 in
Detroit Lakes!  The folks at Nereson’s are pleased to have us display our classics at their dealership and will make sure this
is known in their local ads!  They will even be providing shuttle vans for anyone who prefers to go downtown to the mall or
back to the hotel during the show.  The car show will run for approximately 3 hours.  There will be plenty of time to freshen
up and get something to eat prior to the evening activity.

Saturday evening will find us at the Historic Holmes Theatre in Detroit Lakes, where we will see a live performance by “The
Chinese Golden Dragon Acrobats.”  This group is currently on Broadway and is one of the highlights on the 2006 DL HHT
schedule.  We will be given a special group rate of $15.00 per ticket (normally $16-18/ticket.)  To receive the special rate,
tickets must be reserved by August 1 by calling the box office at (218) 844-7469.  Again, please mention that you are with
NSR Cadillac-LaSalle Club. Check out the theatre website at:  http://www.dlccc.org/theatre.htm

We’ll let you sleep in a bit on Sunday morning.  Around noon, we will be meeting up with the Detroit Lakes Antique Car
Club, who are taking their annual Fall Foliage Run that afternoon.  They will head back toward the Twin Cities with us, and
we’ll all pull off the road for a “pie & coffee” stop along the way.  After that, our tour will be complete as we head the rest
of the way home.

We look forward to your participation in this fun, yet relaxing event!  Please feel welcome to contact me with any questions,
concerns, or comments.
