Director's Letter
February 2003
The year 2003 is going to be a good year for the NorthStar
Region. Those of you who attended the holiday party had a great preview of
things already in place for this year.
Linda Warren has done an outstanding job of putting
together a “Burger Run” program. Plans for the year, include the Old Log
Theater, two Saturday driving and lunch tours during the summer plus the regular
Thursday night gatherings. She has worked hard to put together a program that
offers something for everyone. There are many variations of the Thursday night
hamburger runs, some are not even on Thursday’s and don’t include
hamburgers! Check the website for details. I hope you support Linda and come to
as many of these activities as time permits.
To help identify yourself as a member of our club, you can
now order shirts with the NorthStar Region/CLC logo embroidered on them. The
board thought it would be fun to see all the members wearing the special shirts
at the 25th Anniversary year events. Compared to shirts offered at the Nationals
and other meets, they are a great value. There is a order form in the back of
The Herald. Order now so you can enjoy wearing them all year!
