We had a great Holiday Party at Jax Café last month. I want to congratulate Jerry Steelman as our new Director. The gavel was passed from outgoing Director, John Francis to the new Director, Jerry Steelman. Duane Warren is now the Assistant Director and Jan Gerecke is now the Membership Chairman taking over for Duane Warren. Also Larry Klement is now the Treasurer, taking over for Herb Karow. Congratulations to the above members.

I believe we had approximately thirty-six members attend the Holiday Party. We all had a great time and the food was excellent. As usual Bob Campbell and Earl Faulkner Sr. had their contest to see who could make the most trips up to the food tables. Earl Faulkner Sr. won the contest again this year.

I hope you take advantage of the new item we are selling for our club, the shirts with the embroidered club logo on it. It sure would look nice if we show up at our different events wearing these shirts.

I want to mention to you to keep checking the calendar of events. I made a couple changes this month. Also please note the time for the 25th Anniversary Party has been changed to 6:00PM. I Hope we can keep having great turn-outs for these events. What greater way is there to meet great people and talk cars.

I want to remind all of you of the upcoming 25th Anniversary Party at Mancini’s Char House restaurant on Thursday, April 24, 2003 at 6:00PM. It sure would be great to see seventy or more members take part in this great historic event. This should be a lot of fun and a great way to see some of the founding members of our club. And as always the food is excellent. So get those slips and checks into Bob Campbell by Wednesday, April 2, 2003.

Also don’t forget about the Old Log Theater event, Sunday, March 30, 2003. This event starts at 5:00PM. This is a great place to meet have some fun, enjoy a great play and enjoy some great food. So please get your slips and checks sent to Linda warren by Friday, March 14, 2003.

I would like to hear from you members about your cars or some interesting trip you took with your car, especially you newer members. I would also like to get a picture of your car or cars. You can contact me or Roy Boone with your story and pictures. I will return your pictures as soon as I have scanned them.

I want to remind you if you haven’t  already sent your club dues in yet, they are due by February 1, 2003. The dues are $20.00 for the year. Please send your dues in soon so you won’t be left out of the 2003 Roster book. Jan Gerecke will soon be assembling the 2003 roster book. Send your dues to Jan Gerecke.
