June 2003
Finally getting some nice weather so we can take our cars
out and enjoy them. I have already had my car out to a couple
car shows. It’s fun getting back in that groove, going to car shows and
tours, again. We had a great tour to Chippewa Falls, WI on Saturday, May 10,
2003. Paul Marcello did a great job on leading that tour. More on that tour next
month. I’m keeping this issue of the newsletter geared to the 25th Anniversary
Edition.
Remember
the All GM Show at the Minnesota Fairgrounds on Sunday, June 8, 2003. Remember
to keep checking the Calendar of Events for the different events taking place.
I’m experimenting with a different way of making up the newsletter, magazine
style. The color page is just a one time shot. Let me know what you think of the
new style. I like to make a few changes once-in-awhile. Remember any time you
would like to write a story about your car or a trip you made I will gladly
place it in the newsletter. I’m always looking for material to put in the
newsletter.
We had
a great time at Santorini’s Restaurant on Thursday, May 29, 2003, our Burger
Run. We had twenty-five members attend. That included our newest members, Jeff
and Mary Hunt along with their son. We now have 110 members in our club.
Well
that’s going to be about all for this month. I got a lot of work to do in
keeping my car clean and driving it around. I hope most of you are doing the
same, driving your car and enjoying it. I’ll be talking to you next month.
