Ramblin Roy is lost in the 60’s but found his way
“Back To The 50’s”. The pictures speak for themselves. Lot’s of
Cadillacs at this Show. This year was different in one respect though. A
lot more Cadillac’s were resto’s and /or nearly stock. Actually
about half, the other half included some really well done customs. It
was good to see several of our club member’s cars on the grounds. On
the other subject, recently a club member called to ask if I had any
personal experience with one of the “25th Anniversary Year
Supporters”. In fact, all those advertisers with this designation I
have had experience with and can whole heartedly recommend. In
the last few weeks Tim at Hopkins Firestone, Ken, Rick and Bob at Welle
Auto Plus, Kelly and Troy at Andover Wheel and Frame (and Custom Exhaust
Fabrication) have all provided me with exceptional parts and service.
However, each has stated they have not had any response from the club
members to their donating door prizes and cash for advertising. If
we want these businesses continued support we need to return the favor. Roy Boone, Club Columnist
